Crochet Monster Slippers

UPDATE: I am currently working on a new and improved pattern for these, thanks for your patience and I will posting it soon soon soon!!

I came across these adorable monster slippers but I couldn't find a pattern for them anywhere! I couldn't even find them on the website (kidindependent.com) that they are linked to...

After searching and searching and failing to find a pattern for these, I decided to take matters into my own hands and attempt to make these myself.

They turned out pretty good and my son absolutely loves them!

Thanks for reading!

  1. The slippers you made for your son are adorable! I also saw the picture of the baby monster slippers and hurt myself trying to find the pattern. I'm not advanced enough to make it up myself, I'm still working on afghans and scarves. Keep it up, not as many young ladies are learning needle crafts are our mothers' generation!

  2. Thanks so much! I looked everywhere for this pattern til I decided to give it a try myself. I agree, I like to think that in some areas I am rather traditional :). I learned how to crochet from youtube and jumped right into the advanced stuff. Lots of yarn pulling and restarting but I am always learning new things as I go. Thanks for your lovely comment :)

  3. First I want to say your slippers came out so cute. Can you post the pattern or possible send it to me. I have a friend who has been asking me to make them for her son and like you I've searched everywhere for the pattern. I wish I was a strong enough crocheter to make my own pattern but I've only been crocheting for about a year.
