Crochet Canucks Coasters

Are you a Canucks fan? I know I am, and a lot of my friends are as well. I made these for my friends birthday and all my friends totally love them so I thought I'd share my pattern. Feel free to share, but please link to my blog.

ch - chain
st - stitch
sc - single crochet

5mm crochet hook
white, green & blue yarn
yarn needle

ch 15.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in each st across.
Row 2-13: Ch 1. Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in each st across.

With white yarn, sc in each st all around. sc 3 times into each corner st.
Repeat with green yarn.

For the white hockey stick, you will embellish it. Check out this link to learn how its done

Holding your work right side up, insert your hook into the 4th stitch from the bottom right corner stitch of the white yarn. Loop the white yarn around your hook an pull up through the stitch. Insert your hook right side downwards into the st directly beside, working into the blue. Wrap the yarn around the hook and pull up. Pull that 2nd loop through the first loop just like a chain stitch. Repeat this in 9 stitches across. Then, working upwards to the left, work 2 more ch sts, turn and work 4 more making your way back down to the 9th ch st.

Weave in ends and your done!

Disney Collection

As you may or may not already know, I'm a huge Disney nut! I've always wanted a collection of every Disney movie whether it be on DVD or VHS. The Disney DVD's can be quite pricey so while I slowly grow that collection, I'm going to collect the VHS movies.

Where do you find Disney VHS movies you ask? Thrift stores of course! Stay tuned for my ever-growing Disney movie collection!
